Abstract

Being a military power in the Future demands the development of sophisticated research programs for security and defense. In our research, we show that Peru is among the first military powers in Latin America, which continues to climb. However, unlike its closest competitors, the demand for qualified researchers requires the positioning and indexing of scientific journals to contribute to solidity in security and defense decisions. In conclusion, the training of military researchers is suggested based on the assessment of the potential of civil and military researchers who have made contributions to the institution and are currently qualified researchers at the national and international level. Those who will fulfill the mission of maintaining the prestige of the Army, guaranteeing institutional transformation, providing solutions to the 5 strategic roles, and increasing the level of knowledge production for the benefit of the country with exclusive dedication to this work.
