Abstract

The work that we proposed was carried out with the intention of establishing the correlation of solid waste management with the environmental quality in which the residents of the district of San Juan de Miraflores - Lima 2022 live. Its realization was supported by the examination of the opinion of the neighbors and their discernment about the way in which solid waste is treated and the way in which these techniques damage the environment.

Our work is classified as applied research and non-experimental design and correlational depth. The sample that was determined in the population consisted of 385 residents of this important district located in the southern cone of Lima, who, when interviewed in the survey, contributed to answer the 44 items. The results showed that there is a significance of a very low level of correlation between the variables.
